  1. When I was in middle school, I took technology classes as my electives for all three years. I was taught how to write code and work with CSS, although I haven't practiced these skills in a number of years. My sophomore year of high school, I took an intro to technology class that was taught at the local community college. I would say that I'm proficient in using the Microsoft suite and I am somewhat knowledgeable in the general makeup of computers. I've had a phone since fifth grade and even though I switched to an iPhone in the last year, I have had no trouble adjusting to it.
  2. I hope to learn skills that I have forgotten since taking general technology classes earlier in my education. I would like to be able to learn how to apply the knowledge I gain from this class to a classroom, if I should choose to become a teacher. Although I am already aware of the general educational uses of technology, I would like to further my understanding on how technology can be better utilized in the classroom.
  3. I have learned that my learning styles are about neutral between reflective and active learning. I lean more towards reflective, but I also know from experience that doing something hands on helps me remember a concept much better. In the sensing versus intuitive section, I had a score of nine towards sensing. A score of nine makes sense to me because I am a fan of facts. I love math because there is a formula for doing something, rather than in science, there is a theory for why something works the way it does. I had a score of five for visual, and I can understand this because on the slideshow presented in class today, I remember the meme about the cat typing on the computer more than I remember what text was on the slide. Lastly, I received a score of seven for sequential. That score makes perfect sense because I prefer something to be in ordered steps, much more than just understanding a big picture.
