Adaptive technologies are technologies that were created to make using technology easier for those who have challenges or disabilities. When I think of adaptive technologies, I think of when I was in middle school and I had a computer class with someone who had a disability. I'm pretty sure she had to have her screen adjusted so that she could see it better due to bad eyesight. Adaptive technologies can also be used for people with colorblindness too. It can be challenging to use adaptive technologies in the classroom because only one child may need it in the classroom and the rest of the classroom won't need it. This can cause delays in the classroom. Also, if a student really relies on their adaptive technology and something happens to it, it can hinder their learning and put them behind.
