Adaptive technologies are technologies that were created to make using technology easier for those who have challenges or disabilities. When I think of adaptive technologies, I think of when I was in middle school and I had a computer class with someone who had a disability. I'm pretty sure she had to have her screen adjusted so that she could see it better due to bad eyesight. Adaptive technologies can also be used for people with colorblindness too.  It can be challenging to use adaptive technologies in the classroom because only one child may need it in the classroom and the rest of the classroom won't need it. One application that teachers can use for their Personal Learning Network is The Teaching Channel. Teachers can use this tool to view videos of other teachers teaching in a classroom, communicate with other teachers, and also share lesson plans with other teachers. Not only are teachers able to view other teacher's profiles, but they are able to have their profiles viewed by possible future employers, etc. It is also free for teachers to use. LinkedIn

I have struggled to find stuff to post two times a week because it's boring to just post quotes, we have to do more than only retweet, and I don't have anything remotely interesting to say to my follows. On the other hand, I have learned that it would be a great tool for a classroom. Students can keep in touch with their teacher while they aren't in school and teachers could use it to spread information to their students quickly and efficiently.  I loved creating my web page, but much like the newsletter assignment, it was very time consuming. I am familiar with building websites, but a lot of information had to be added to this one and I am not familiar with adding information to web pages....
